If you are a co-op staff member or officer, please share this with members of your co-op and encourage them to participate in the North American cooperative movement! Please indicate the degree to which you'd like to be involved in each of the following proposed action steps. Create a ?Guide to Sustainable Co?operation? that would help co?ops to design and implement sustainable policies and practices. Draft a statement of commitment to sustainability that member co-ops could adopt. This statement would outline specific suggestions for promoting ecologically sustainable initiatives. Collect energy and water usage data (in the form of utility bills) to submit to NASCO staff for analysis. Contribute faculty and course suggestions for the 2009 NASCO Institute theme "Cooperatives and Ecological Sustainability." Please list any other suggestions or thoughts on Ecological Justice and NASCO co-ops.
