Message-ID: Hello everyone, Can you believe it? NASCO Institute is just six weeks away! *Early registration ends October 5*--that's in less than two weeks. You save $50 on registration fees by registering early--so please do! I also wanted to draw your attention to a special training opportunity we have available again this year: the Cooperative Leadership Track provides an opportunity for cooperators to build an analysis of power, privilege, and oppression as it operates in their co-ops and communities, to take away training tools and techniques, and to share ideas for creating inclusive and accessible spaces in co-ops. This year, NASCO is proud to partner with *Philly Stands Up! * to offer an all-day training on organizing against sexual assault: "*National Call to Action to Confront Campus-Based Sexual Assault .*" Participants will examine the failures of existing methods of dealing with sexual assault on college campuses, and work towards a new framework and new strategies for responding. This workshop is for all folks of all genders who are or want to be involved in responding to Sexual Assault in their friend networks, on college campuses, and in student housing, including student co-ops. The Track will take place *Friday, November 4, 10 am - 5 pm*. Indicate you'd like to participate in the Cooperative Leadership Track on your Institute registration form when you *register online*.
